HOC is a Malaysian government scheme that is designed to encourage the increase in home ownership among Malaysians. It is designed to support homebuyers who are looking to puchase property.

HOC also aim to encourage the sales of unsold proprties in Malaysia's housing market. However, HOC is only applicable for developers who registered their projects and only newly launched projects is eligible.

HOC is a financial incentive scheme by the Malaysian Government that offer to potential buyer.

1. 100% Instrument of Transfer Stamp Duty exemption for property price that is up to RM1 million.
2. Partial Instrument of Transfer Stamp Duty exemption for property price that is up to RM2.5 million.

1. Malaysian citizens
   • Both Purchaser and/or Co-Purchaser must be Malaysian Citizens
2. For Residential Purposes only
   • Purchaser must purchase the property for residing within it only.
   • No commercial activity allow
3. Registered Properties
   • Peninsular Malaysia: Properties that are registered with REHDA Malaysia
   • East Malaysia: Properties that are registered with SHAREDA and/or SHEDA Malaysia

• The campaign was introduced and executed on 1st Jan 2019 - 30th June 2019, and was extended to 31st Dec 2019
• The campaign was highly supported by fellow Malaysians and many requested to bring it back.
• The campaign was once again re-opened from 1st June 2020 - 31st May 2021.
• Due to the pandemic, the government introduced aid package for fellow Malaysians, this is one of the many benefits from the package.
• The campaign was extended all the way until 31st Dec 2021

1. Potential Buyers does not have to apply / pay any fee to be entitle for HOC
2. Potential Buyers should ask the developer / Real Estate Negotiator if the project is register under HOC.
